Jodi Minnis, born 1995 in The Bahamas, holds an Associates of Arts: Fine Arts from the College of The Bahamas. Minnis investigates the intersection of gender, race and culture through an interdisciplinary practice. Her curatorial work centers contemporary Bahamian art practices that explore industry, class and culture. Minnis was awarded the Popop Junior Residency Prize (2014) and participated in the Caribbean Linked III residency programme (2015). She also received the prestigious Prime Minister’s Cup award from the Bahamian Ministry of Youth, Sports and Culture. Minnis recently concluded a three month residency at The Current at Baha Mar.
