Kellie Magnus is a Jamaican writer and development consultant. She is the author of more than fifteen children’s books and stories, several of which are used in the Jamaican school system. She currently serves as the Jamaica Country Lead for Fight for Peace, an NGO that supports programmes for youth living in communities with high levels of violence. Kellie also serves on Jamaica’s National Commission on Violence Prevention and the subcommittee of the National Education Commission that addresses out-of-school factors. Kellie writes on arts, education and entertainment for regional and international publications.
