Althea Hewitt received her initial inspiration from her dad Stephen Hewitt who started his career as a guitarist in “Hippie Boys” band and owner of the “Mighty Cloud” band. She studied business administration, pursued her dream in music between modeling stints and working as a receptionist/typist. A former member/lead singer of 4th Street Sister, she has garnered over fifteen years of musical experience. Vocal training in pop, and classical. She did drama, voice and speech at Edna Manley College. Althea has two albums under her belt, Introducing Althea Hewitt (2008) and Stronger (2019) and looks forward to blazing new trails.
