Angelique McKay is a cultural warrior in The Bahamas, has been the project manager for several programs that has taken various aspects of Bahamian culture around the world. She is the CEO and founder of the award winning Junkanoo Commandos Organization, an organization that travels promoting the number one cultural expression of the people of The Bahamas…Junkanoo. She is also the creator and artistic Director of the newest Festival in The Bahamas, The Bahamas Junkanoo Art and Music Festival that is 2 years old. She holds a Masters Degree in Cultural Project Development from the University of Turin and has several certifications in various aspects of Festival and Events management from The International Festival and Events Association. Angelique has a nine year old son, Zyon who means more than the world to her and ads a different level of happiness to her life.
