A-dZiko Simba is a writer, storyteller, spoken word artist and workshop facilitator. Her writing covers diverse genres including prose, poetry and scriptwriting. Her work has been aired on radio and television in Jamaica, Montserrat, and Britain, performed on stage in Europe and regionally, and published in a number of regional and international anthologies. Her debut novel, All Over Again, won the inaugural Burt Award for Caribbean Literature in April 2014. In October 2019, A-dZiko was awarded a Bronze Musgrave medal for her contribution to the field of Jamaican literature. A-dZiko is currently working on her latest novel Deep Water.
