Abeo Jackson is a multi-disciplinary artist from Trinidad and Tobago interested and engaged in ongoing creative diasporic #JametteDiscourse while further exploring the underpinnings of art as advocacy. She is a past Coco Dance Festival Maverick Award winner, as well as a past Trinidad and Tobago National Youth Award recipient in the sphere of Culture. She recently won the Best Supporting Actress Award at the First Contact Film Festival in New Jersey. Abeo holds a BA in Theater and Dance from Dickinson College, Pennsylvania and an MA in Acting for Screen from the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, London.
