Born in Haiti, Mr. Adelin Pierre has a bachelor’s in Environment and Spatial Planning from Campus Henry Christophe of Limonade/UEH. Since his early age, Mr. Pierre has been very passionate about environmental issues such as climate change, biodiversity, etc. Currently, he is the Country Director at YES Akademia and also DRR Regional Focal Point – Americas at United Nations Major Group for Children and Youth. Due to his dynamism, Mr. Pierre has been nominated the “Young Climate Ambassador” by the Haitian Government and also have also been awarded as an Outstanding Person in 2018 by Junior Chamber International. Mr. Adelin Pierre believes that every single person has something to bring to their communities in order to build a society where everyone can feel safe and realize their full potential.
