About Aurélie Chantelly: I’m a French Caribbean photographer from Martinique. As a Caribbean photographer, the diversity that resides in the Caribbean influences my work greatly; I also use codes of the urban culture to enrich my work. Generally, my work highlights a contemporary youth. A proud and assured one; And i make sure to introduce the « notion » of representation and the « notion » of style cause it’s a way for me to claim identity, individuality and make us different regardless of the expectation of the society.
