Lauryn S. Marin is a contemporary mixed media artist who seeks to explore and capture ‘The Human Experience’ through her work. Self-taught, Lauryn first began exploring expression through little drawing exercises, challenging herself to capture anything deemed interesting in her environment; a leisure exercise which her mother introduced. Initially, the subjects were people and nature-oriented but as she grew, the desire to express her observations more explicitly and explore new mediums arose. After high school, she chose to study through practical experience, studying different mediums from local artists and expanding her knowledge through the Art of Experimentation.
