Leslie-Ann Beckles has been part of the performing arts since childhood, onstage and off stage giving her a holistic perspective. After completing her Marketing studies at COSTAATT and the Chartered Institute of Marketing, she engaged in effective proposal writing for creative organisations, resulting in funds being gained. This workshop entitled “Proposal Writing 101” was successfully conducted at “Journey Round Myself” Symposium for Carifesta XIV 2019. She hopes that all creatives will be able to enjoy a lucrative career by pursuing their craft and as such continuously promotes the strengthening of the business acumen within the cultural sector.
