Nadja Nabbie – Trinidad & Tobago

Nadja Nabbie is a writer from Trinidad and Tobago. In 2014, she was awarded a scholarship from the national government to pursue Creative and Critical Writing at the University of Sussex. Her first publications were poems appearing in the GiE Youth Magazine. From there, she became the lead author of My Own SBA Toolkit for CSEC English A Examinations. Recently, her short fiction has been published in Bookends of the Jamaican Observer and in Intersect Anu. Nabbie is enrolled in the MFA Creative Writing program at the UWI (St. Augustine) where she is working on a collection of short stories.
