About Oneka Small: I am a multimedia, multidisciplinary artist and curator. I capture. I paint. I draw. I write. I create installations. I put things together. I use the materials at my disposal to convey my ideas, thoughts and responses to events that move me. Experiencing and sharing these experiences are tantamount for the development of humanity and it cements our interdependence. A lot of my work focuses on emotions and feelings, the unseen. It is the exchange of energy that governs the interaction of all beings, with others and the environment. Very important to my practice is the exploration of the ideas of love and respect.
