Matilde dos Santos is a Brazilian historian, writer, and curator based in Martinique. She works around memory and narrative, with special interest in performance art in the Caribbean. She is now a lecturer in “History and Image” at the Université des Antilles. Previously, she taught history of contemporary Brazilian art at the Campus Caribéen des Arts. In 2018, she was the curator of RESET, a solo show of Ricardo Ozier-Lafontaine, at the Clément Foundation. In 2018-2020, she was a juror at the Visual Art Committee, French Ministry of culture in Martinique. She also published a book on Clément Foundation’s sculpture garden.
