Sherwood McCaskie is a cultural practitioner who blends his formal academic background with practical experience to provide a platform for capturing community life and preserving oral history. Through his productions, ordinary men and women are able to tell their stories, educate others and add to the knowledge base of society. Sherwood is currently the Senior Manager and Head of Archives and Information at the Caribbean Broadcasting Corporation (CBC), and has taught at the University of the West Indies Cave Hill Campus, Barbados Community College, Anteneo de Manila University, Philippines and University Malange City, Indonesia.
